Awards
FMUN offers awards to delegations and delegates that demonstrate exemplary diplomacy, negotiation, speaking skills, and research capabilities.
Award Structure:
Delegation Awards
FMUN will present a number of outstanding delegation awards, distinguished delegation awards, and honorable mentions at closing ceremonies, as determined by cumulative ratings of the committee director and assistant director in each committee.
Please note that these awards are delegation awards, not individual or college awards. (i.e. Qatar, not John Doe or University of Michigan)
Delegate Awards
Each committee will present awards to their best delegate(s) and to their most improved delegate(s). The committee awards are solely based on a delegate’s participation in that particular committee. Individual committee awards will be given out at closing ceremonies, and may be given to Crisis Council Delegates.
Position Paper Awards
Each committee may present an award for the best position paper. Only position papers that are submitted before the deadline will be considered for these awards.
